Important to know about Arkansas

  • The annual Franchise Tax Report ($150 for every LLC, due May 1) must be current or the LLC will not be in good standing. The Secretary of State warns that failure to pay can lead to fees, penalties and interest, or revocation of the authority to do business.
  • The online certificate is downloadable for only 2 weeks from the date of purchase. Save a copy immediately.
  • Arkansas offers no expedited service for this certificate. The online certificate can be printed as soon as you buy it. A certificate ordered on paper with the Records Request Form can be mailed back or picked up at the Business and Commercial Services office in the Victory Building, Little Rock.
