States use different machinery to deal with an LLC that stops filing or loses its registered agent, and the differences change what you file, what it costs, and how long you have. Some states dissolve the company. One of the states below never dissolves it at all. Another cancels the articles without dissolving anything, and calling that dissolution would send you to the wrong statute.
