Or stop being a Nevada LLC

Registering in Ohio is one answer. The other is to move the LLC to Ohio, ending its formation-state registration in Nevada, a filing called domestication, which Ohio itself calls a conversion. The same LLC continues. A move alone normally does not require a new EIN. Check with your bank and review contracts for any notice or consent requirements.

Move the LLC to Ohio
$125/year
Keeping both states costs $475 more a year: two annual filings and two registered agents instead of one. Figures are state recurring charges plus one Northwest registered agent per state at $125 a year. The move filings are $350 to leave Nevada and $99 to arrive in Ohio, before any service fee. Worth doing only if you no longer need registration in Nevada. Outstanding taxes and exit-year charges still need to be settled.
