Important to know about Connecticut

  • The annual report is due March 31 on a fixed calendar, not on the registration anniversary, so an LLC registering in February files within weeks.
  • Penalties continue for each year or part of a year of unregistered operation.

If your LLC did business in Connecticut before filing, check the Connecticut foreign LLC penalty guide first. Back fees can run from the date you started, not the date you file.
