Important to know about Virginia

  • Virginia LLCs file no conventional annual report. The recurring $50 is an annual registration fee assessed by the State Corporation Commission, which is why searching for a Virginia annual report turns up little.

If your LLC did business in Virginia before filing, check the Virginia foreign LLC penalty guide first. Back fees can run from the date you started, not the date you file.
